ABSU Appoints Dr. Kelechi Inyama as New Director of Admissions

The Vice-Chancellor of Abia State University, Uturu (ABSU), Professor Ndukwe J. Okeudo, has appointed Engr. Dr. Kelechi Inyama as the new Director of Admissions of the university.

The appointment was announced at the 288th Regular Meeting of the University Senate, held on Wednesday at the Senate Chamber of the university.

Dr. Inyama, who is currently the Head of the Department of Computer Engineering, ABSU, brings to his new assignment considerable academic and administrative experience, having served in the university’s academic community in various capacities.

His appointment places him at the centre of the university’s admission administration, with responsibility for coordinating and overseeing processes relating to the admission of prospective students into the institution.

The appointment is expected to further strengthen the administration, coordination and efficiency of the university’s admission processes, particularly in ensuring effective management of admission-related activities.

With his background in Computer Engineering and experience in academic administration, Dr. Inyama is expected to bring his expertise, organisational capacity and institutional knowledge to bear on his new responsibility.

The university community has congratulated Engr. Dr. Kelechi Inyama on his appointment and expressed confidence in his ability to discharge the responsibilities of his new office effectively.
