2027: Oli Targets Youth Unemployment, Women’s Empowerment in DNA Constituency
Chief Barr. Prince Chukwudi Oli, popularly known as Oba Ezeafia and the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) candidate for the Dunukofia, Njikoka and Anaocha (DNA) Federal Constituency, has unveiled an empowerment-focused development agenda aimed at tackling youth unemployment, strengthening women-owned businesses and expanding economic opportunities across the constituency ahead of the 2027 general elections.
According to a statement issued by the Oba Ezeafia Media Team, Oli’s proposed agenda places job creation, skills acquisition, entrepreneurship and economic inclusion at the centre of his vision for the constituency.
The statement said the APGA candidate intends to prioritise initiatives that equip young people with practical skills, promote self-reliance and improve access to employment and entrepreneurial opportunities.
It added that women would be supported through initiatives designed to strengthen their businesses, cooperatives and participation in economic activities.
The agenda also targets farmers, rural communities and small-scale entrepreneurs, with proposed interventions in agricultural support, business training and improved access to markets to boost productivity, expand local enterprises and improve livelihoods.
Beyond economic empowerment, Oli has identified primary healthcare and education as critical sectors requiring greater attention, stressing the importance of improving access to essential services and creating opportunities for constituents to achieve better living standards.
The APGA candidate maintains that effective representation must go beyond lawmaking to deliver tangible benefits to the people.
According to him, representation should be anchored on regular engagement with constituents, consultations with community stakeholders and a sustained commitment to addressing the concerns and aspirations of the people.
He also emphasises transparent leadership, effective legislation and public accountability as essential pillars of responsive governance, arguing that elected representatives must remain accessible to the people and ensure that their interests are reflected in legislative decisions.
Oli’s proposed development agenda places economic empowerment, inclusive growth and accountable representation at the heart of his political offering as the race for the DNA Federal Constituency seat gathers momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections.
If implemented, the proposed initiatives could provide opportunities for young people, women, farmers and small-business owners across Dunukofia, Njikoka and Anaocha, while strengthening the focus on community-driven development and people-centred representation.
