Nonye Soludo Cannot Be Compared with Senator Ekwunife in Character, Says APGA Chieftain Obigwe

First Lady of Anambra State Dr Mrs Nonye Soludo and Uche Ekwunife

The National Coordinator of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Media Warriors Forum, Chinedu Obigwe, has strongly defended the character of Her Excellency, Mrs. Nonye Soludo, the wife of Anambra State Governor, Professor Charles Soludo.

In a statement issued on Sunday, Obigwe dismissed any attempt to draw comparisons between Mrs. Soludo and Senator Uche Ekwunife, asserting that the two women embody fundamentally different values and lifestyles.

According to Obigwe, Mrs. Soludo is a woman of modesty, integrity, and pride qualities.

He described her as admirable and worthy of emulation.

He noted that she is a symbol of dignity and decorum, and a shining role model to women across Nigeria.

“Her Excellency Nonye Soludo exemplifies character and self-respect,” “She upholds the values of integrity, humility, and moral uprightness, which set her apart in public life.

She is a woman who inspires other women to value self-worth over materialism.”Obigwe stated.

Obigwe further decried the Senator Ekwunife recently declined of a public paternity test challenge, initiated by Mrs. Soludo.

While the propriety of such a challenge is debatable, Obigwe insisted that Ekwunife’s refusal to respond raises concerns about her openness and character.

“The refusal to engage in such a test though controversial, casts a shadow on her credibility,” “In contrast, Mrs. Soludo’s consistent conduct has earned her the admiration of many Nigerians. She should be celebrated for her unwavering commitment to moral values and exemplary behavior.”Obigwe said.

The feud between both women reportedly stems from an earlier dispute between Governor Charles Soludo and Senator Ekwunife, centered on questions raised about her academic qualifications. Senator Ekwunife responded with pointed criticisms directed at the governor, prompting Mrs. Soludo to publicly defend her husband and, in turn, become entangled in the controversy.

Obigwe reaffirmed the APGA Media Forum’s support for Mrs. Soludo, describing her as a paragon of virtue and a role model for women in leadership.
