Soludo Celebrates Obiano, Ngige on Birthdays

The Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo has congratulated former Governors Willie Maduaburochukwu Obiano and Senator Dr. Chris Nwabueze Ngige on the occasion of their birthdays, acknowledging their respective contributions to the development of Anambra State and the nation.
In a congratulatory message to Chief Willie Obiano, Governor Soludo described the former governor as a worthy son of Anambra whose eight-year tenure contributed significantly to the state’s development and continued progress.
Governor Soludo acknowledged the various initiatives and investments undertaken by the Obiano administration, particularly in infrastructure and other sectors critical to the growth and development of the state.
He noted that the former governor’s efforts formed part of the broader continuum of governance and public service through which successive administrations have contributed to the advancement of Anambra.
The Governor commended Chief Obiano for his commitment to the state and described him as a patriot whose service to Anambra remains worthy of recognition and appreciation.
Governor Soludo therefore wished Chief Willie Obiano a happy birthday, praying for sustained good health, renewed strength, joy, and many more years of a fulfilled and impactful life.
In a separate congratulatory message to Senator Dr. Chris Ngige, Governor Soludo recalled the former governor’s contributions to Anambra State during a formative and challenging period in the state’s political history.
He particularly acknowledged Dr. Ngige’s emphasis on discipline and accountability in public administration, as well as his efforts toward infrastructural development during his tenure as Governor.
Governor Soludo noted that Dr. Ngige’s administration occupies an important place in the political history of Anambra and in the evolution of the state’s democratic governance.
The Governor also commended Dr. Ngige for his subsequent record of public service to Anambra State and Nigeria, including his years representing Anambra Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly and his service as Minister of Labour and Employment.
Governor Soludo celebrated with Dr. Ngige on the occasion of his birthday and wished him a memorable celebration, robust health, continued wisdom, peace, and God’s abundant blessings in the years ahead.
The Governor further expressed his hope that the two former governors would continue to lend their experience, wisdom, and goodwill to the progress of Anambra State and the advancement of its people.
