The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has officially launched its ward-to-ward campaign tour ahead of the November 8, 2025, governorship election in Anambra State, beginning with a massive turnout in Isiagu, Ezinator, and Umuawulu communities.

Addressing supporters at the campaign rally, the Deputy Governor of Anambra State, Dr. Onyeka Ibezim, described Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo as a “first-class professor” who has prudently managed the state’s resources and delivered tangible projects across key sectors.

He assured the crowd that the roads connecting Isiagu and Ezinator would soon be completed, noting that Governor Soludo had already constructed numerous kilometers of road and initiated several others within just three years in office.

Dr. Ibezim urged women and youths to mobilize at the grassroots level to ensure total victory for APGA across all polling units, emphasizing the party’s ambitious target of “one million votes” for Governor Soludo.

Also speaking, the Deputy Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon. Chukwuma Pius Okoye, guaranteed that Isiagu, Ezinator, and Umuawulu would deliver 100% of their votes to Soludo.

He recalled that his first constituency project in Isiagu was the construction of classroom blocks, underscoring his commitment to the community’s development.

The Chairman of the Awka South Campaign Council and Managing Director of the Awka Capital Territory Development Authority (ACTDA), Dr. Ossy Onuko, praised the strong grassroots presence of APGA in the area.

He stated that the campaign tour had proven the party’s dominance in Anambra politics and highlighted Soludo’s strides in education, healthcare, road infrastructure, and the prompt payment of workers’ salaries.

Dr. Onuko stressed that the party’s “polling unit strategy” would be central to its campaign revolution.

Community stakeholders and leaders also expressed their unwavering support for Governor Soludo.

A minute’s silence was observed in memory of the late Harford Oseke, former Deputy Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly and a native of Umuawulu.

Speaking on behalf of Isiagu community, Chief Jude Nwangwu commended the governor’s performance across all sectors of the state’s economy.

However, he appealed for the timely completion of roads connecting Isiagu, Ezinator, and the Nazareth Centre.

In Umuawulu, prominent APGA chieftain Chief Azubuike Ekweozor (Ide Umuawulu) lauded Governor Soludo’s infrastructural and innovative projects. He pledged to deliver all 16 polling units in his community to APGA.
