Awka Federal Court to Authorities: Stop Chaining Suspects

The presiding judge of Federal high Court Awka 2 Justice B.M.K Mohammed has warned prosecuting agencies of not bringing defendants into court in chains.
He gave the warning on Wednesday when the correctional centre brought some suspects handcuffs for the continuation of their trial in Court.
According to him,no defendants should be in this court in chains unless with a specific reason.
Justice Mohammed who was not happy seeing suspects in Court said that he will not tolerate prosecutor bringing suspects into the court in Court.

“No defendants should be in Court in chains in this court, unless there are specific reason ” he warned
