Founder of Osisioma Foundation  Dr. Chike Obidigbo has advised Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu, the Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), to ensure that he fulfills his campaign promises to Ndi Anambra if he wins the November Governorship election in Anambra State.

Dr. Obidigbo who is an industrialist  and elder state man gave this advice while addressing Ukachukwu and his entourage, who visited members of the Osisioma Foundation at his lodge in Ajakpani Village, Umunya, Oyi Local Government Area, Anambra State.

The founder of the Osisioma Foundation noted that Ukachukwu’s visit was not his first, recalling that during his own initial political contest.

He said  it was in the same place that his deputy was selected, and they had given him maximum support.

“God will help you so that this visit will be successful. My friend, the incumbent Governor Soludo, made a promise before becoming governor. He said he would transform Anambra State into Dubai, the Japan of Africa. I told him I would hold him accountable for his words, but unfortunately, he disappointed us,” Dr.

“These people you see here are members of the Osisioma Foundation. We have branches in Awka, Nnewi, Onitsha, and Umunya. We have three zonal coordinators: one for Anambra South, one for Anambra North, and one for Anambra Central. All of them are present here,” he added.

He emphasized that the Osisioma Foundation is not a political party but maintains a strong interest in politics.

“What we are saying is that, if it is the will of God, you will win, and our prayer is for your victory. When you win, remember Osisioma Foundation, Omambala, Anambra State, and Igboland,” Obidigbo said.

In response, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu expressed gratitude to Dr. Obidigbo and the members of Osisioma Foundation for their warm welcome, stating that he was deeply pleased to meet them.

He assured Dr. Obidigbo and the Foundation members that he is committed to fixing Anambra State and noted that God must be preached throughout the state.

Ukachukwu, fondly called Ikukuoma, also promised that Ndi Anambra would rejoice if he is elected and that the Osisioma Foundation would be incorporated into government activities.

“If you work with me, you will enjoy with me, but honesty is essential. You must engage in your respective polling units. Your polling unit is not in your leader’s house but in your wards. Go back to your wards, identify with your ward structures, and work with them. Let your ward structures know you. By God’s grace, if we win the Governorship election, which I am confident we will, I will come back again,” he assured.

Ukachukwu further reiterated his readiness to fulfill his promises to the Osisioma Foundation, saying he cannot pledge what he cannot deliver.

He emphasized the need for members of the Foundation to actively identify with their wards.

“Go and identify with yourselves with the Ikukuoma campaign council in your wards. Let them know you are from Osisioma Foundation. Register with them so you become part of the campaign council. Once you do, you will qualify for roles such as councilor, local government chairman, Special Adviser, Senior Special Assistant, Commissioner, and more in my government,” Ukachukwu added .
