MEDL Cancels Scheduled Power Outage in Enugu Between October 22–31

The Management of Mainpower Electricity Distribution Limited (MEDL) wishes to inform its esteemed customers in parts of Enugu that the previously scheduled power interruption originally planned from Wednesday, October 22 to Friday, October 31, 2025, between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. daily—has been cancelled.

This decision follows communication from the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) citing unforeseen technical constraints that make it necessary to suspend the planned outage.

The affected 33KV feeders that were earlier scheduled for rotational maintenance include:Kingsway Lines 1 & Emene Industrial Lines 1 & 2,Thinkers Corner,Trans-Ekulu,Ugwuogo and Ituku Ozalla

A revised schedule for the maintenance exercise will be announced once new dates are confirmed.
