Soludo’s Kinsmen Raise ₦200 Million, Pledge Unshaken Loyalty for His Re-election

Jubilation filled the air in Isuofia on Wednesday as Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo was warmly received by his kinsmen during the final lap of his re-election campaign.

The homecoming rally turned into a massive show of solidarity as the people of Isuofia donated over ₦200 million in support of the governor’s bid for a second term under the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).

The event, held at the Central School Field in Isuofia, attracted a large and enthusiastic crowd, transforming the rally into both a campaign mobilisation drive and a celebration of unity, community pride, and shared vision for the future of Anambra State.

The people of Isuofia, visibly proud of the transformation witnessed under Soludo’s administration, pledged unwavering support for his re-election. They vowed to deliver an overwhelming victory for APGA in the November 8, 2025, gubernatorial election.

Addressing the gathering, Governor Soludo expressed gratitude for the massive show of love and reaffirmed his commitment to deepening good governance across the state.

“Across Anambra, people say we are the consensus candidate, but remember your vote is your voice. On November 8, I urge each of you to make that voice heard,” Soludo declared.

He emphasized the importance of civic participation, urging citizens to turn out in large numbers to exercise their franchise.

“Elections are not just about leaders; they are about the future we want for our children and generations to come. Let us come together as one people to build the Anambra of our dreams,” he said.

Governor Soludo used the occasion to highlight key achievements of his administration, including infrastructure renewal, rural development, education reform, security improvements, and youth empowerment initiatives.

He noted that his policies have laid a strong foundation for sustainable progress but stressed that “there is still more work to be done.”

“We have accomplished so much together, but our vision for a liveable and prosperous homeland is still unfolding. Your continued support is vital to complete this transformation journey,” he said .

Prominent community leaders also spoke passionately in support of the governor among include Chief Evarist Ubah who praised Soludo’s leadership style.

He described him as “a visionary leader who has brought credibility, discipline, and purpose to governance.”

The President General of the Isuofia People’s Movement, Engr. Fidelis Okafor, alongside Engr. Ifeanyi Ifemelu and other community stakeholders, formally endorsed Soludo’s candidacy.

Engr. Okafor stated, “As our son, Governor Soludo has remained accessible and responsive to the needs of our people. His grassroots approach to governance has transformed communities and elevated Anambra’s reputation nationwide.”

Echoing his sentiments, Engr. Ifemelu added “Governor Soludo’s reforms are practical and people-centered. We must ensure his re-election so that he can consolidate these gains and continue steering Anambra toward greater prosperity.”
