Anambra South APC Hails Tinubu, Party Chiefs on Nze Chidi Duru’s Appointment at 59

The All Progressives Congress (APC), Anambra South Senatorial District, has extended warm felicitations to President Ahmed Bola Tinubu, the National Executive Committee (NEC), and the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party for recognizing and entrusting Nze Chidi Duru,Deputy National Organizing Secretary of the APC and respected party leader from Anambra State with key responsibilities in the ongoing transformation and consolidation of the party nationwide.

In a congratulatory message jointly signed by the Senatorial District Chairman, Chief Izuchukwu Okeke, and the Secretary, Comrade Uche Nkonye, the party celebrated Nze Duru on his 59th birthday, describing him as “a visionary leader, bridge-builder, and steadfast progressive whose commitment has continued to strengthen the APC, particularly in the South East.”

The statement praised Nze Duru’s sustained contributions to peace, unity, and internal cohesion within the party, noting that his leadership has been instrumental in repositioning the APC in a region where the party continues to make steady inroads.

“Nze Chidi Duru, since the inception of his political career, has remained a dependable pillar of strength to our great party. His experience as a former legislator who represented Aguata Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, and his continued service as a national officer, have brought immense value and credibility to the APC in Anambra South and beyond,” the statement read.

The party leaders further prayed for divine guidance and strength for Nze Duru, urging him to continue to deploy his experience and intellect in advancing the ideals of the APC under President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

“As you celebrate your new age, it is our prayer that God grants you the wisdom, courage, and vitality to continue impacting our party and the nation positively. Your leadership has provided a firm platform for the APC to consolidate its presence and pursue victory across the South East,” the statement added.

Chief Okeke and Comrade Nkonye also commended President Tinubu, the South East leadership of the party, and both the NEC and NWC for recognizing Nze Duru’s exceptional capacity and unwavering loyalty to the progressive cause.

The statement further applauded Nze Duru’s service as Chairman, Governing Board of the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Lokoja, describing his stewardship as “dynamic, reform-driven, and impactful.”

“We recall with pride your recent appointment by President Ahmed Bola Tinubu as Chairman of the Governing Board of FMC, Lokoja—an appointment well-deserved and reflective of your competence. Your tenure has already brought renewed energy and administrative innovation to the management of the institution,” it added.
