Anambra CP Orutugu Urges Residents to Support Police, Security Agencies in Maintaining Peace During Ember Months
The Commissioner of Police in Anambra State, CP Ikioye Orutugu, has called on residents to continue supporting the Nigeria Police Force and other security agencies in sustaining the peace and safety recorded across the state, especially during the recently concluded elections.
In a personally signed statement, CP Ikioye Orutugu, fwc, MNIPS, PhD, emphasized that with the Ember Months and Christmas season fast approaching, it is essential for Ndi Anambra to partner with the Police and other security operatives to ensure peace, order, and security before, during, and after the festive period.
According to the Commissioner, the Command deeply appreciates the high level of public cooperation witnessed in recent times and does not take it for granted.
He urged residents to maintain the same spirit of unity, tolerance, and mutual respect that has continued to strengthen the state’s collective resolve against any divisive tendencies.
CP Orutugu reaffirmed the commitment of the Anambra State Police Command to safeguarding lives and property, assuring residents that proactive measures have been put in place to ensure a peaceful and crime-free Yuletide season.
