Ogbaru LGA Boss Tasks Contractors on Speedy Project Delivery Ahead of Rainy Season

The Mayor of Ogbaru Local Government Area in Anambra State, Chief Kenneth Akwuobi, has charged contractors handling various projects in the council area to accelerate their pace of work in order to beat the onset of the rainy season.
Chief Akwuobi gave the charge during an inspection tour of ongoing road construction projects across the Ogbaru Council Area.
He stressed the urgency of completing critical aspects of the projects before heavy rainfall begins, noting that delays could negatively affect the quality and durability of the roads.
While expressing satisfaction with the standard of work delivered so far, the council boss emphasized that contractors must adhere strictly to the timelines stipulated in their contracts.
He urged them to intensify efforts and deploy additional resources where necessary to ensure timely completion of the projects.
Chief Akwuobi reiterated the council’s commitment to providing durable and accessible road infrastructure for residents, describing the projects as essential to economic growth, ease of transportation, and improved living conditions in the area.
Residents of Ogbaru Local Government Area have praised the mayor for what they described as purposeful and proactive leadership.
They also commended the Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, for fulfilling his promises to the people of Ogbaru, particularly in the area of road infrastructure development.
The residents further expressed optimism that the ongoing projects would be completed within a short time, noting that improved road networks would significantly enhance social and economic activities in the riverine council area.
