Ex–Deputy Gov Okeke Hails Soludo’s Infrastructural Revolution

Former Deputy Governor of Anambra State, Dr. Nkem Okeke, has commended Governor Charles Soludo for his bold and aggressive approach to transforming the state’s physical and socio-economic landscape.
Dr. Okeke made the commendation during a recent inspection tour of several high-impact projects across the state. The tour was led by Mr. Chinedu Nwoye, Chief Protocol Officer and Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor, who guided the former Deputy Governor through key government initiatives, including the Country Club, the Solution Fun City, and the Light House project in Awka.
Speaking after the tour, Dr. Okeke described the ongoing developments across Anambra State as clear evidence of purposeful leadership and strategic governance.
He noted that the projects reflect a deliberate shift toward world-class social and recreational infrastructure designed to meet contemporary standards.
According to him, facilities such as the Solution Fun City and the Country Club go beyond being mere leisure destinations.
He stated that they are critical social investments capable of promoting social cohesion, stimulating economic activities, and enhancing youth engagement.
Dr. Okeke further observed that the projects provide modern amenities and constructive outlets for young people, thereby contributing to a more vibrant and inclusive society.

The tour terminated at the Light House in Awka, where Dr. Okeke expressed satisfaction with what he described as the seamless integration of infrastructure development across both urban and rural corridors of the state.

He rated the Soludo administration highly for its steadfast commitment to the “Prosperous Homeland” vision, noting that massive investments in road networks, public utilities, and recreational hubs are laying a solid foundation for a modern, livable, and economically competitive Anambra State.
