Catholic Priest, Fr. Adimike, Felicitates Philanthropist Kanife on Dedication of Church He Built for Christ

The Founder of Faithspiration Initiative, Very Rev. Fr. Dr. George Adimike, has congratulated renowned philanthropist, Amaechi Davidson Kanife, popularly known as Izaga for Christ, on the successful dedication of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Ugwetiti, Amansiodo-Ogha, in Ezeagu Local Government Area of Enugu State.
Fr. Adimike, speaking on behalf of members of Faithspiration Initiative, described the dedication as a moment of divine fulfillment and uncommon grace, noting that Kanife and his wife, Mrs. Nneoma Kanife both committed members of the initiative—single-handedly built the magnificent church for their community.
Leading a high-powered delegation of Faithspiration Initiative members to the dedication ceremony, Fr. Adimike joined other dignitaries to witness the historic event, which was officiated by the Catholic Bishop of Enugu Diocese, His Lordship, Most Rev. Callistus Onaga.
Commending Kanife’s exceptional generosity and faith, the cleric stated that Izaga for Christ has joined the rare league of individuals specially graced by God with the opportunity to build a house of worship for Him.
According to Fr. Adimike, the church stands as a spiritual heritage where people will gather to worship, pray, and encounter God, adding that Kanife has etched his name both in the annals of the community’s history and in the Kingdom of God.
“I thank God for Izaga because God gave him the resources, but he also gave him the faith, goodwill, and humility to use those resources for something great—for God and for humanity,” Fr. Adimike said.
He further described money as an instrument—a good servant but a bad master and urged wealthy individuals to recognize that the resources entrusted to them by God are meant to advance divine worship and promote the well-being of humanity.
The priest encouraged affluent members of society to invest in projects that uplift communities, such as churches, hospitals, schools, and other social infrastructure that improve the quality of life of the people.
Fr. Adimike called on individuals across Amansiodo-Ogha, Ezeagu Local Government Area, Enugu State, and Nigeria at large to emulate Kanife’s exemplary commitment to serving God and humanity through selfless philanthropy.
