Obidient Movement Warns Against Attacking, Threatening Peter Obi

Members of the Obidient Movement in the North Central zone have issued a stern warning to those attacking and threatening their principal, His Excellency, Peter Gregory Obi.
They stated that they want the public to know that they have taken time to investigate what happened in Edo State, what led to it, those behind the dastardly act, their subsequent threats, and what they believe could be their next move.
In a statement signed by its Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Coordinator, Comrade Daniel Dumije, and made available to journalists, he said they are now armed with knowledge and intelligence regarding what played out and what is currently unfolding.
According to him, “We wish to sound this note of warning to those who have taken it upon themselves to turn this country into another Somalia by unnecessarily provoking the peace-loving millions of Obidient Movement members worldwide through threats or attacks against our principal, H.E. Mr. Peter Gregory Obi.”
He, however, urged those attacking Mr. Peter Gregory Obi to have a rethink and save Nigeria from the unimaginable consequences of their wicked and callous actions.
“It is a well-known fact that no person or group of persons has a monopoly on rascality or violence. We are not political thugs or motor park touts; we are men and women of great means, upwardly mobile, and with a strong sense of responsibility. We have decided to stop the rape of our country by conscienceless and wicked individuals masquerading as leaders by any means possible. We will achieve this through every peaceful means,” he said.
Comrade Dumije further warned that if they are pushed to the wall, they are assuring those responsible that they will not look for a way to escape by trying to break the wall and continue running like lily-livered men and women. Instead, he said, they would pay the cowards back in their own coin, as Nigeria belongs to everyone.
“We also want to let those bent on intimidating and cowering the rest of us through violence know that we know all of you, your paymasters, and even the rat holes where you are hiding. Any further attacks or threats against Peter Obi will no longer be tolerated in silence or without consequences,” the Obidient Movement warned.
He further reminded those wishing Peter Obi death that just as Donald Trump survived every attack during his campaigns and went on to win the presidential election with an unprecedented landslide victory, so too will Peter Gregory Obi outlive his adversaries.
He added that Obi would go on to win the 2027 presidential election with a landslide victory and successfully carry out the mission of rescuing Nigeria from what he described as the crime scene the country has turned into.
“It is also pertinent to note that it is God who rules in the affairs of men. Therefore, those who think they can use their present positions of power to intimidate, oppress, or silence the opposition must have a rethink, because it will never work for them this time.
“The vision is clear and the mission is settled. We, the Obidients, believe strongly in the personality, credibility, and ideology of Mr. Peter Obi, and we will continue to stand by him, stand with him, and stand for him until our New Nigeria mission is accomplished,” he added.
