The Anambra State Central Senatorial aspirant in the upcoming 2027 election, Chief Dozie Nwankwo, has appealed to the electorate to vote only for the best candidate.
According to him, it is important for the electorate to support candidates who have demonstrated genuine interest in the welfare of the citizens.
Nwankwo has attracted numerous life-enhancing projects and programmes during his tenure in the Federal House of Representatives, which have led his constituents to clamour for his elevation to the Senate.
Popularly known as “Onyendozi” (the builder), he accepted the call at a meeting with critical stakeholders from the Anambra Central Senatorial Zone in Enugwu-Ukwu yesterday.

He stated that he would use the opportunity of serving in the Senate to increase, expand, and complete all the life-changing projects he initiated while at the Green Chamber.
Nwankwo has built and equipped computer laboratories and classrooms with a capacity of over 500 units, where eager citizens have been trained and graduated with strong proficiency in information and communication technology applications.
He also facilitated the establishment of a campus of the Federal College of Agriculture in Anambra State.
According to him, the computer laboratories and classrooms are currently undergoing expansion to accommodate more computer units and students.
The senatorial hopeful, who has continued to provide free medical outreach to citizens for nearly three decades, assured stakeholders that he would further expand his poverty alleviation initiatives to reach all constituents in the senatorial district.
He has also provided widowhood support, as well as women and youth empowerment programmes, among other poverty alleviation initiatives.
