Chief Okey Ezenwa,Anambra State Coordinator, Renewed Hope Ambassadors
The Anambra State Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA) for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027, Chief Okey Ezenwa, has called on all Renewed Hope coordinators at the zonal, local government, and ward levels across the state to mobilize members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to vote for President Bola Tinubu in the party’s presidential primaries scheduled for Saturday.
In a statement issued in Awka on Friday, Ezenwa stated that the presidential primaries would be conducted through a direct voting process across all electoral wards nationwide.
According to him, APC members in every state are expected to turn out in their respective wards to vote for President Tinubu as the party’s presidential candidate for the 2027 general election.
He emphasized that members of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors in Anambra State are expected to lead the mobilization effort by voting massively for the president and encouraging other APC members in their various communities to do the same.
Chief Ezenwa maintained that President Tinubu deserves a second term in office in view of what he described as the administration’s remarkable achievements over the past three and a half years.
According to him, President Tinubu has laid a solid foundation for economic recovery and sustainable growth through the introduction of a unified foreign exchange regime, the stabilization of the naira, the removal of fuel subsidy, and the aggressive pursuit of infrastructural development across the country.
He noted that major federal road projects such as the Badagry–Sokoto Superhighway, the Lagos–Calabar Coastal Highway, and the Enugu–Onitsha, Enugu–Umuahia–Aba–Port Harcourt expressways have received significant attention since Tinubu assumed office.
“These roads are critical catalysts for economic development and national integration,” he said.
Ezenwa further described the establishment of the South East Development Commission (SEDC) by President Tinubu as a major breakthrough for the region’s infrastructural and industrial advancement.
“The South East Development Commission has remained a game-changer in the region’s quest for infrastructural and industrial development. The president made it possible after decades of neglect and abandonment. That achievement remains to his credit, and it cannot be taken away from him,” he stated.
He also observed that the prices of staple food items are gradually declining, even during the current planting season, which he attributed to the economic policies of the Tinubu administration.
Chief Ezenwa reminded APC members in Anambra State that the process of ensuring the continuity of the president’s policies and developmental strides begins with their participation in Saturday’s presidential primaries.
He urged party faithful to troop out to their various wards and vote massively for President Tinubu as the APC’s presidential candidate for re-election in the 2027 general elections.
