Faithspiration Initiative Celebrates Four Members Elevated to the Catholic Priesthood

It was a joyful occasion as members of Faithspiration Initiative gathered to celebrate four of their members who were recently ordained as Catholic priests.
The newly ordained priests are Rev. Fr. Martin Obiajulu, Rev. Fr. John Mary Iwuh, Rev. Fr. Simeon Enuh, and Rev. Fr. Panthaleon Umeh.
Faithspiration Initiative is a non-governmental Christian organization made up predominantly of young adults. The platform is widely known for its guiding philosophy of the “3Es”—Evangelism, Empowerment, and Entertainment. It was founded by Very Rev. Fr. Dr. George Adimike, a highly respected Catholic priest of the Onitsha Archdiocese.
The celebration was held at SS. Peter and Paul Parish, Iba-Pope, Awada, in Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State.
The event commenced with a Thanksgiving Holy Mass presided over by Rev. Fr. John Mary Iwuh, concelebrated by his fellow newly ordained priests.
Delivering the homily, Rev. Fr. Cyril Umezuluike emphasized that God calls individuals to different vocations and responsibilities in life.
He explained that while some are called to the priesthood, others are called to professions such as teaching, trading, and various other fields. He stressed that regardless of one’s vocation, it should be used to serve God and humanity for the greater glory of God.
Fr. Cyril noted that the newly ordained priests had embraced the noble vocation of the priesthood and urged them to remain faithful ambassadors of Jesus Christ by serving God with dedication, humility, and commitment.
He also encouraged members of Faithspiration Initiative to remain steadfast in their faith and to keep their focus on Jesus Christ despite life’s challenges.
“Put your trust in Jesus Christ and never lose hope. Do not be afraid. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus Christ so that whenever you call upon Him, He will answer you,” Fr. Cyril said.
The Special Guest of Honour, Hon. Nelson Omenugha, disclosed that he embraced the vision of Faithspiration Initiative from its early days when it was first introduced.
He commended the founder and spiritual leader of the Initiative, Very Rev. Fr. Dr. George Adimike, describing him as a personal friend and a close friend of his family.
Hon. Omenugha, who serves as the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo on Youth Formation and Reformation, encouraged members of Faithspiration Initiative with innovative ideas on youth development and reformation to bring them forward for consideration.
He assured the members of his continued support and pledged to sustain his partnership with the Initiative in raising morally upright and responsible youths who will contribute positively to society.
Also speaking, Hon. Arinze Okafor commended members of Faithspiration Initiative for their unwavering commitment to God.
According to him, living a life of genuine worship is not easy because of the constant struggle between the flesh and the spirit. However, he noted that serving God comes with immeasurable blessings, particularly in shaping and transforming the lives of young people.
He pledged his continued support for the Initiative and officially declared himself a member of the Faithspiration family.
Ace radio broadcaster and journalist, Nelson White, also pledged to promote all Faithspiration Initiative programmes on at least five major radio stations across Anambra State.
He described the Initiative as a vibrant and committed Christian organization dedicated to evangelism and youth mobilisation for God.
In his remarks, the founder and spiritual leader of Faithspiration Initiative, Very Rev. Fr. Dr. George Adimike, expressed profound gratitude to the newly ordained priests, invited guests, and members of the Initiative for honouring the occasion with their presence.
He described it as a great privilege to officially welcome the newly ordained priests, who had been active members of Faithspiration Initiative before answering God’s call to the priesthood.
Fr. George prayed that God, who had called them into His vineyard, would continue to increase them in wisdom, grace, spiritual strength, and anointing, enabling them to carry out their priestly responsibilities faithfully for the glory of God and the salvation of souls.
Speaking on behalf of his colleagues, Rev. Fr. Martin Obiajulu expressed deep appreciation to Fr. George Adimike for his unwavering commitment to the growth and development of Faithspiration Initiative.
He praised Fr. George for his fatherly guidance, encouragement, and consistent support throughout their journey to the priesthood, describing him as a source of inspiration and strength.
Fr. Martin also thanked members of Faithspiration Initiative for their prayers, encouragement, and steadfast support over the years.
He assured them that despite their priestly responsibilities, they would continue to identify with Faithspiration Initiative and remain committed to its mission of winning more souls for Jesus Christ.
He prayed for God’s blessings upon all members and wished them success in their various endeavours.
Delivering the vote of thanks on behalf of the planning committee and Faithspiration Initiative, Bro. Kingsley Ezeudu expressed appreciation to the Special Guest of Honour, Hon. Nelson Omenugha, Hon. Arinze Okafor, and all distinguished guests for gracing the celebration.
He also commended the founder, Very Rev. Fr. Dr. George Adimike, for his unwavering commitment to the success of the event despite being in a period of mourning following the death of his brother.
Bro. Ezeudu prayed that God would comfort Fr. George and his family and grant them the strength to bear the loss.
One of the key leaders of Faithspiration Initiative, Bro. Ezeudu further announced that branded Faithspiration Initiative polo shirts would be presented to Nelson White and Hon. Arinze Okafor as a symbolic gesture of formally welcoming them into the Faithspiration family.
The celebration featured moments of thanksgiving, prayers, goodwill messages, and joyful fellowship, as members, guests, and well-wishers congratulated the newly ordained priests and reaffirmed their commitment to the vision and mission of Faithspiration Initiative.
