Uzodimma: Why Imo Honoured Nigeria’s First Lady Oluremi Tinubu with “Oso di Eme” Title

The Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma, has clarified why the First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, was conferred with the prestigious “Oso di Eme” chieftaincy title by the Traditional Rulers Council of Imo State at the Eze Imo Palace.

According to the governor, the conferment of the chieftaincy title is in recognition of the impactful leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and the contributions of his administration to the country.

Uzodimma said that, from the inception of the Renewed Hope Administration, the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has consistently complemented the efforts of the President through the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI), which has implemented numerous empowerment programmes for indigent women and other vulnerable members of society.

“Here in Imo State, beyond empowerment, we have benefited immensely from her numerous acts of magnanimity and support. Her decoration with this prestigious chieftaincy title therefore represents our profound appreciation for her contributions and support. In recognition of these efforts, we are encouraged to do even more come 2027,” he said.
