The group attributes this renewed momentum to the joint candidacy of Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu and Senator Uche Ekwunife as the party’s flagbearer and running mate, respectively.

Speaking to journalists in Awka following a strategic meeting of the group yesterday, the National Coordinator of Ikemba Front, Sir. Arinzechukwu Awogu, stated that APC has undergone significant transformation and is now emerging as the party of choice for Ndi Anambra.

According to Awogu, “The emergence of Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu and Senator Uche Ekwunife has reinvigorated the APC in Anambra. Their candidacy has not only unified the party but has also positioned us advantageously for the forthcoming election. The APC of today is not the APC of yesterday. Anyone making such comparisons is failing to see the political tide shifting in our favour.”

He further noted that a significant number of former members of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) have defected to the APC, strengthening its grassroots presence across the state.

“APC is now fully on the ground in all 5,720 political units, 326 wards, and all 21 local government areas of Anambra State. The privileges once monopolized by APGA are now being enjoyed by the APC. Anyone doubting the rising popularity of APC in Anambra is living in denial. Today, APC is where the people of Anambra are,” he added.

Awogu said that the APC is now the most dominant political force in the state, commanding attention, sparking debate, and instilling concern among opposition parties.

“As we approach the November 8 election, APC is not just contesting ,we are poised to win, clearly and convincingly,” he added.

Also addressing journalists at the event, the Assistant State Secretary of the APC, Ozo Sam Osita Oraegbulam, who represented the Anambra State APC Chairman, Chief Basil Ejidike, praised the Ikemba Front as a formidable mobilization force within the party.

“We recognize and appreciate the Ikemba Front as a vital support group,” “They have the capacity, structure, and influence to mobilize voters across Anambra, and we are confident that their contributions will be instrumental to our victory on November 8.”Oraegbulam stated.
