Media Strategist Nweke Nweke Joins Agunechemba as Spokesman

The Anambra State security outfit, Agunechemba, popularly known as Udo Ga Achi, has engaged the services of veteran journalist Comrade Nweke Nweke as its new spokesperson.

His appointment is aimed at nurturing and strengthening the existing positive rapport between the organization and residents of Anambra State.

The announcement was made on Tuesday at the Old Government House, Awka, during the formal presentation of the new spokesperson to the Special Adviser to Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo on Community Security, Chief Kenneth Emekiah. 

The presentation was conducted by Chief Chinenye Iheknor, who oversees the operations of the group.

It is noteworthy that Comrade Nweke Nweke previously served as the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Anambra Vigilante Group (AVG).

During the ceremony, Chief Iheknor urged the new spokesperson to carry out his duties with dedication, transparency, and diligence.

 He expressed confidence that the veteran media professional would utilize his experience and skills to further enhance the relationship between the security outfit and communities across the state.

Chief Chinenye Iheknor, popularly known as Okpompi by admirers, also presented Comrade Nweke with a copy of the legislation passed by the Anambra State House of Assembly that formally established the Agunechemba security group. 

He charged him with the responsibility of effectively communicating the organization’s activities to the public through various media platforms.

Encouraging the new spokesperson to represent the agency accurately through both word and deed, the Governor’s Security Adviser, Chief Emekiah, expressed high expectations.

 He commended Nweke’s previous work with the Anambra Vigilante Group as “outstanding.”

In his response, Comrade Nweke Nweke expressed his gratitude to the Anambra State Government for the opportunity and pledged to approach his new responsibilities with utmost seriousness and professionalism.

He also called on journalists to collaborate closely with his office, particularly in reporting on the ongoing efforts of Agunechemba and other security agencies in addressing insecurity across the state.

The new Public Relations Officer welcomed members of the public to contact his office with any inquiries or concerns regarding the activities or personnel of the organization
