The Spiritual Leader of Soul Revival Outreach, Nnewi, Prophet Ikechukwu Uzukwu, has issued a stern warning to Anambra State Governor, Prof. Charles Soludo, demanding the disbandment of the state-sponsored Udo-Gachi security outfit within one month or face legal action.

Prophet Uzukwu expressed deep concern over what he described as an alarming rise in senseless killings allegedly linked to members of Udo-Gachi and the Agunechemba security operatives.

According to him, “There is hardly any week that these so-called operatives of Udo-Gachi and Agunechemba are not implicated in the killing of innocent persons across various parts of the state.

“The tragedy in today’s Anambra is that actual criminals seem to be operating freely, while these security outfits have become notorious for targeting and killing innocent citizens.

“In yet another case, Udo-Gachi operatives reportedly carried out a killing at Okpuno-Awka. Eyewitnesses claimed they saw the operatives open a window of the victim’s house and shoot her in cold blood.”

Addressing Governor Soludo directly, the cleric asked, “Are these security monsters too big to control, or are they too strong to be disbanded?”

He lamented what he sees as the governor’s inaction, stating, “It is unfortunate that the governor appears incapable of addressing the growing reports of extrajudicial killings committed by Udo-Gachi operatives. Sadly, it looks as though he is more preoccupied with his second-term campaign than with ensuring the safety of Ndi Anambra and residents alike.”

Prophet Uzukwu further stated that the people of Anambra should not continue to act as though these senseless killings are insignificant.

He referenced a recent incident involving the family of a prominent political figure: “The only son of the Anambra State Woman Leader of APGA was murdered in cold blood, yet the state government has remained silent.”

The cleric revealed that he has already consulted with his legal team and warned that once the one-month ultimatum expires, the state government will be dragged to court for its failure to act against Udo-Gachi and Agunechemba.
