Market Leader Warns Traders on Risks of Not Re-electing Soludo

Chief Chijioke Okpala, Chairman of the Green Seed Market, Onitsha,an umbrella body representing rice, beans, pepper, tomato, garri, and other foodstuff dealers across Anambra State has cautioned traders in various markets about the potential dangers of not re-electing Governor Charles Soludo for a second term in office.

According to Okpala, any failure by traders to vote for Governor Soludo in the upcoming election could jeopardize the ongoing developmental projects initiated under the current administration.
He said that a change in leadership might lead to the discontinuation or total abandonment of current programs, forcing traders and market associations to start afresh under a new, potentially less trader-focused regime.
Speaking to journalists during a recent public endorsement of Governor Soludo’s second-term bid by Anambra State traders, under the aegis of their umbrella body the Anambra State Markets Amalgamated Traders Association (ASMATA) held at Chuba Ikpeazu Stadium, Awka Road, Onitsha North LGA, Okpala praised the governor’s impact on market development across the state.
He noted that, under Soludo’s leadership, many markets now enjoy unprecedented peace and stability.
“The markets in Anambra State have experienced significant infrastructural development and improved security under Governor Soludo. These improvements have greatly boosted commercial activities. Every trader in the state should therefore support his re-election, so he can continue the good work,” Okpala declared.
Speaking amid loud applause from traders and association members, who commended his leadership, the chairman further stressed that Governor Soludo’s achievements extend far beyond market development.
“In every sector of the state,roads, healthcare, education, employment,the governor has performed excellently,” “We have seen the construction of quality roads linking all three senatorial zones of the state, establishment of general hospitals in each zone, improvements in healthcare delivery, revitalization of the educational sector through the employment of qualified teachers, and youth empowerment programs. These are tangible reasons why Governor Soludo deserves another term to complete his transformative agenda.”he said.
He passionately appealed to his fellow traders to vote wisely.
“I am appealing to every trader in Anambra State,do not make the mistake of voting for another candidate. If we do, we risk losing all the progress we have made under Governor Soludo. A new person may abandon these initiatives and implement entirely new ones, which will set us back. As traders, we cannot afford such a loss.”he added.
