The Deputy Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Anambra State, Senator Uche Ekwunife, has eulogized the late Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, who represented the Anambra South Senatorial Zone, describing him as an irreplaceable leader.
In a tribute personally signed by Senator Ekwunife on Wednesday, marking what would have been Senator Ubah’s birthday, she lamented the fact that instead of celebrating with them, he is now gone.
“You were irreplaceable a hardworking, kind-hearted, and generous soul. Having served alongside you in the 9th Senate, I can personally attest to your strength of character, your commitment to service, and your unwavering love for your people.
“Your passing remains a painful reminder of how fleeting life is. It underscores the fragility of our human existence and reminds us that no one knows the day or the hour. Truly, it could be any one of us, at any time.
“As we reflect on your life and legacy, we are reminded to make the most of every opportunity to live with purpose, serve humanity, and fulfill the will of God.
“Coming to terms with your loss has not been easy. Today, as you celebrate your birthday in the company of angels, we pray that God continues to grant you eternal rest in His bosom.
“May the Almighty continue to strengthen and comfort your family, friends, and all those whose lives you touched.
“Happy posthumous birthday, my dear brother and friend, Distinguished Senator Ifeanyi Patrick Ubah. You are not forgotten, for a man is only truly gone when he is forgotten and you, my friend, will forever live in our hearts,” she said.
