The Director of Peter and Charles Properties Limited, one of the leading real estate developers in the South East, Mr. Sunday Obinze, has urged the public, especially prospective land and property buyers to always seek out genuine real estate developers when purchasing land to avoid the risk of litigation.
Mr. Obinze, popularly known as Ogwuego of Nnado, gave this advice in a statement he signed and made available to journalists in Onitsha.
He attributed the rising incidence of litigation to the alarming activities of land grabbers, often caused by inexperience in the real estate business and dealings with unregistered real estate operators.
Obinze, who is the former President of Bridgehead Market, Onitsha, Anambra State, and Chairman of the Iyiowa Landlord Association in Ogbaru Local Government Area, Anambra State, criticized some land and property buyers who engage with anyone claiming to be a real estate agent or developer and negotiate land prices without proper verification.
He further said that a genuine and experienced land developer can be identified not only through social media but also by verifying if the agent or developer is duly registered with a legitimate address and a credible reputation.
“When buying or investing in land, what you should consider is the authenticity of the property. Most times, people rush to buy land because of its low price, but in the end, they spend large sums of money on litigation,” Obinze said.
“Therefore, it is advisable to approach a genuine real estate agent or developer to purchase land and have peace of mind, rather than wasting your hard-earned money on legal battles. If you buy land or any other property from Peter and Charles Properties Limited, you can rest easy knowing you are secure. Be assured that you are in safe hands. We deal only in genuine properties and value our good name above all else,”
“We protect our integrity, especially when you buy property from us. We have land and other properties across the South East, including Asaba, Okpanamu, Awka, Aguleri, Enugu, Iyiowa, Odekpe, and several other locations,” he noted.
