Wife of Anambra State governor Dr Mrs Nonye Soludo and deputy governorship candidate of APC in Anambra State Senator Uche Ekwunife
The All Progressives Congress (APC) deputy governorship candidate for the forthcoming Anambra State gubernatorial election, Senator Uche Ekwunife, has issued a formal apology to the wife of the Anambra State Governor, Dr. Mrs. Nonye Soludo, over recent infidelity allegations.
In her statement, Senator Ekwunife extended her apology to the Governor, his wife, and the general public who may have been affected by the controversy and public altercations that have emerged in recent days.
The statement, released through her Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Tony Ezike, clarified that the allegation claiming Dr. Mrs. Nonye Soludo had children for Chief Chris Uba was entirely false and was never made or endorsed by Senator Ekwunife or any member of her campaign.
Senator Ekwunife further emphasized that although she has been subjected to defamation, character assassination, and personal attacks by members of the Governor’s media team, the defamatory publication in question did not originate from her camp.
She called on her supporters to remain calm, focused, and refrain from engaging in or circulating any media content that could be construed as a confrontation with the First Family or any other individuals, as she continues with her campaign efforts.
