Police Arrest Notorious Armed Robbery Suspect on Wanted List in Anambra

The police in Anambra have arrested Kingsley Eze, a 34-year-old man who has been wanted for years over alleged involvement in armed robbery.

According to a statement issued by the state Police spokesman, SP Ikenga Tochukwu, operatives from the Rapid Response Squad in Awkuzu arrested the suspect on Saturday in Abagana, acting on credible intelligence.

Tochukwu confirmed that Eze has been on the police wanted list due to his suspected involvement in multiple armed robbery incidents.

During the arrest, the police recovered one Magnum pump-action gun and twelve (12) live cartridges from the suspect.

“The suspect is currently in custody undergoing interrogation and will be charged in court upon the conclusion of investigations,” Tochukwu added.
