Anambra 2025: Hausa Community in Oyi Pledges 100% Support for Chukwuma

The leadership of the Hausa community in Oyi Local Government Area of Anambra State has endorsed the governorship candidate of the Young Progressive Party (YPP), Sir Paul Chukwuma, ahead of the forthcoming November 8 election.

The endorsement was made over the weekend during a campaign rally held in Oyi.

In a personally signed statement, Sir Chukwuma described his engagement with the leadership of the Hausa community in Oyi as a fulfilling moment, noting that they pledged to deliver 100 percent of their votes in his favour.

According to him, the community spoke with one voice, assuring him of their total support at the polls.

Chukwuma expressed deep gratitude to the Hausa community for their commitment.

“I thank the Hausa community immensely for this show of support and their promise to vote for me.”he stated.

Quoting an Igbo proverb, he added: “Ebe onye bi, ka o na-awachi” — meaning, “Where one lives is where one protects.” He emphasized that Anambra State would work better for all its people and residents under his administration.

He further described Anambra as an emerging microcosm of Nigeria, saying, “Anambra is becoming a mini-Nigeria in every sense, with cosmopolitan potential comparable to the nation’s largest cities.”he stated.
