Uturu PG Mba, Felicitates with Abia AG on Elevation to SAN

The Honourable Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice of Abia State, Ikechukwu Uwanna and President-General of the Uturu Development Association of Nigeria, Dr. Chidi S. Mba

The President-General of the Uturu Development Association of Nigeria (UDAN), Dr. Chidi S. Mba, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Honourable Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice of Abia State, Ikechukwu Uwanna, on his recent elevation to the prestigious rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN).

In a personally signed statement made available to journalists on Tuesday, Dr. Mba described the elevation as a well-deserved and commendable milestone, both for Mr. Uwanna , Isuikwuato local government area, Abia State and for the legal community at large.

“I humbly extend my warmest congratulations on your recent and well-merited elevation to the revered rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN). This singular honour is not only a testament to your unwavering dedication, integrity, and service to humanity but also a reflection of your exemplary contributions to the legal profession. Your elevation brings immense pride ,not only to your immediate community but also to all of us who believe in you and ,merit, excellence, and the rule of law you exemplified,” he stated.

Dr. Mba further noted that Mr. Uwanna’s recognition serves as both a commendable achievement and an inspiring example for the younger generation across Abia State and beyond.

“This elevation is a clear affirmation that hard work, consistency, and professionalism are duly rewarded,” he added.

Dr. Mba, who also serves as the Chairman of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Abia State University (ABSU), Uturu chapter, described Ikechukwu Uwanna, SAN, as a legal luminary whose advocacy has brought hope and relief to the oppressed and marginalized in society.

According to him, Mr. Uwanna has consistently stood on the side of fairness, equity, and justice, distinguishing himself as a defender of the defenseless and a principled advocate for the rule of law.

Dr. Mba urged the newly elevated Senior Advocate to continue leveraging his vast legal acumen and experience to ensure that Abia State not only retains its leading position in upholding justice but also sets a standard in transparency and equity within the justice system.

“As the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, I encourage you to continue using your wealth of legal expertise to ensure that Abia State remains a beacon of fairness, equity, and justice,” he said.

Dr. Mba also offered prayers for divine strength and wisdom for Mr. Uwanna in his new role:

“May the Almighty God continue to endow you with the wisdom, strength, and grace required to take on even greater responsibilities in service to the state and the nation.” he added.
