God Commissioned Me to Break Strongholds Dragging the Nation Down —Apostle Chimezie

Chief Apostle Fidel Chimezie

A renowned cleric, Chief Apostle Fidel Chimezie, has revealed what God told her about the emergence of a new Nigeria and the steps required to actualize it.

Speaking during a media chat on Wednesday to commemorate the 65th anniversary of Nigeria’s independence, Chief Apostle Chimezie, the founder of the Nigeria Ministers Project and the Apostolic Discipleship Project said God gave her a vision of a new Nigeria and a spiritual pattern to dismantle principalities and negative altars holding the country down.

“When God called me, He said He had chosen me for a new Nigeria. He called the work a ‘project.’ It is not a ministry; it is not a church. It is a project.“My primary assignment is to gather ministers, principally apostles and prophets to intercede and pray for a new Nigeria, and to undertake every form of work necessary to enable a new Nigeria to manifest. This call came in 2007, after many years of being born again.”she said.

Chief Apostle Chimezie explained that her calling is in the order of apostolic work, specifically as a Chief Apostle.

“When I asked God what this meant, He told me that whatever is done with blood against His ministers or against the nation, He has empowered me to destroy it. God assured me that He can take me in the spirit to destroy whatsoever is working against His people and show them the way out.

“God said He selected me in the order of Peter and Paul, and since then He has been faithful. I am an altar minister—which means I work with altars.”she added.

She noted that the major spiritual problem facing Nigeria is the existence of “negative altars,” adding that God continually empowers her with the highest hierarchy of altars, based on the blood of Jesus Christ and the Word of God, to deliver His people.

Chief Apostle Chimezie said she initially engaged in evangelistic work until she was discovered by Mother Success, her spiritual mother, who revealed God’s true purpose for her life as an apostle rather than an evangelist.

“I used to do evangelistic work. God visited Mother Success to tell her that I was called into a national and apostolic assignment not evangelistic work. Initially, she refused to tell me, but God punished her terribly and instructed her to deliver the message.

“When she came, she told me that the work I was doing was not my assignment. She said God had assigned me to a national mission to help His ministers and His church. That night, the Lord Himself visited me in a dream. He said He had been waiting to have that discussion. He told me He wanted to give me power so that whatever is done with blood on negative altars, I am empowered to destroy it.”dhe stated.

According to her, God also told her that while He had given similar powers to others in the past, strict protocols had prevented people from accessing them.

“He said He would give me this power but required a covenant that I would not set up any protocol that would hinder people from reaching me. God promised to direct people to work with me, provide the resources I need, and keep my team small no more than seven at a time to avoid distraction.“To the glory of God, I have been in this project for 18 years, carrying out great apostolic assignments.” Chimezie stated.

Chief Apostle Chimezie also revealed what God showed her about Nigeria’s foundational problem.

“In one of our programs, the Lord told me that Nigeria’s problem started when Mungo Park visited Nigeria and offered a sacrifice at the confluence point in Lokoja. There, he offered sacrifices to marine spirits on behalf of the British.

“The Lord revealed that as long as the confluence remains, the British will continue to lord themselves over us and dictate to us on major issues. This negative altar and sacrifice are holding Nigeria down even influencing our political leaders and manipulating them to do the wrong thing.”she stated.

She said the reason for raising apostles, prophets, and ministers is to use the altar of God to destroy negative powers and principalities so that God can raise people with positive mindsets to rebuild Nigeria.

Chief Apostle Chimezie stated that God instructed her to gather ministers two from each state of Nigeria and travel to Dubai for a prophetic assignment.

“We are to spend between 12 to 14 days in Dubai praying for Nigeria. After the prayer, everyone will collect sand from Dubai to their state and invoke the spirit of unity, oneness, and agreement—which helped develop Dubai—to manifest in our land.

“This prayer will block the airways against demonic forces troubling Nigeria, dismantle evil altars, and enable our people to begin reasoning properly.”she said.

She lamented that in the 18 years since the project began, no government has supported it financially, relying solely on individual donations.

“It is a very expensive project. God has instructed us to raise people from every state who will go to Dubai again. Who will finance it? I don’t know! It is important to raise men who understand what God wants Nigeria to do, so they can stand in the gap physically and spiritually, praying for this country and its leaders. This is God’s pattern to deliver Nigeria.”Negative Altars Holding Nigeria Down” she stated.

On why God insisted on Dubai, she explained:“Whenever God wants to accomplish a mission, He provides a pattern. God is using Dubai as a pattern for us because He is saying it is only with the spirit of agreement and oneness that Nigeria can be built.“When we go there, stand, and pray in agreement, the land will incubate us, and we shall be like them. But we need to agree primarily and pray for God’s help. We need salvation in Nigeria, but our approach has always been wrong. In this project, sacrifices are involved, money is needed, ransom is required. I plead with our people to rally round this assignment so that Nigeria can move forward.”

She also called on apostles and prophets to prepare to serve their fatherland by interceding for the governance of the nation.

Chief Apostle Chimezie expressed regret over Nigeria’s political climate, lamenting that most people contesting political positions lack genuine love for the country.

“Those contesting political positions in Nigeria don’t love the nation. Their hearts are insatiable. They already have money and only want to make more. They do not desire anything that will advance the course of the land.

“Nigeria is richly blessed by God, but very few desire its welfare. Leadership is our biggest problem. Regrettably, political leaders have so manipulated the church that instead of the church helping to direct political leadership, they have corrupted church leadership and brought it to a very low standard—forcing leaders to abandon the Lord Jesus Christ, who is our standard.“This is why God is instructing me to raise ministers from every state.” she stated.

She disclosed that she once tried to explain Nigeria’s predicament to former President Goodluck Jonathan through the then Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator Anyim Pius Anyim, but her efforts were blocked.

“I asked him to gather about 12 Christians who could follow us to Dubai to pray, according to God’s instruction, so that the spirit that helped develop Dubai would come over to develop Nigeria—using Hosea 10:12, that God always shows signs of what He wants to do through His prophets. But Anyim refused. Look at the country now—the matter is getting worse. But the Lord who called me is giving us another opportunity.”she added.
