As Ogbaru Local Government Area in Anambra State prepares to welcome Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo on his campaign tour, a key stakeholder in Okpoko, Hon. Stephen Nnaemezie popularly known as Ohamadike expressed his group’s full readiness to receive the governor in Okpoko, one of the constituencies within Ogbaru LGA.

According to Hon. Nnaemezie, Governor Soludo is scheduled to visit both Ogbaru Constituencies 1 and 2 on Friday, October 24, 2025, accompanied by his deputy, Dr. Onyekachi Ibezim, and other dignitaries of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).

The visit, he noted, will focus on campaign activities and the formal adoption of Soludo’s candidacy by the people of Ogbaru.

Speaking to journalists in Onitsha, Hon. Nnaemezie described the governor’s visit to Okpoko as a “homecoming,” and reiterated his group’s unwavering support and commitment.

“We are not just receiving the Solution Governor in Okpoko as a visionary and action-oriented leader, but as a messiah of the Okpoko community. I have mobilized my group in a way that will show Governor Soludo that I, Ohamadike, have the capacity to deliver him singlehandedly,” he stated.

A former House of Assembly aspirant for Ogbaru Constituency 1 and Director of Contact and Mobilization for the Ogbaru APGA Solidarity Movement, Ohamadike assured Soludo of resounding success in the upcoming November 8 governorship election, expressing confidence that the governor would win decisively.

“Governor Soludo’s visit this week is a testament to his commitment to the people of Okpoko. His impactful projects in the community and across Anambra State have significantly improved infrastructure and general development. Welcoming him again to Okpoko now fondly referred to as New Heaven will be a moment of pride and gratitude,” he said.

Hon. Nnaemezie also commended the governor’s strides in improving infrastructure, healthcare, education, and security across the state.

He noted that Soludo’s dedication to good governance has earned him the admiration of the people, who have honored him with the title Oluatuegwu.

“On behalf of myself, my support group, and the good people of Ogbaru Constituencies 1 and 2, we eagerly look forward to your visit and to hearing more about your plans for our future,” Ohamadike said.
