Anambra 2025: Accord Party Joins Forces with APC, Throws Weight Behind Ukachukwu

The growing record of benevolence, philanthropy, and selfless service to God and humanity by Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for the forthcoming Anambra State election, continues to win him widespread admiration and political support across the state.
In a major political development ahead of the November 8, 2025, poll, the Accord Party has formally announced its decision to partner with the APC and throw its full weight behind Prince Ukachukwu’s candidacy. The party described him as a “proven benefactor, accomplished interventionist, visionary performer, and a man of deep compassion who has consistently invested his personal resources for the upliftment of society.”
Leading a high-powered delegation of Accord Party leaders drawn from all 21 local government areas of the state, the Deputy National Chairman of Accord Party, Hon. Dike Innocent Igboekwe, visited Ukachukwu at his country home in Orsumenyi, Nnewi South Local Government Area.
According to Hon. Igboekwe, the visit was both a solidarity and endorsement mission aimed at forging a strategic alliance with the APC to ensure Ukachukwu’s victory at the November 8 election.
“We are here to declare our total support for Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu, popularly known as Ikukuoma (Wind of Glory). We believe in his vision, his integrity, and his ability to restore Anambra’s lost glory. We came to put in our best and ensure that we collectively take over the seat of government at Agu-Awka come November 8,” Igboekwe affirmed.
The Accord Party delegation, which comprised a 14-member committee from each of the 21 local councils, pledged not only to support but to actively collaborate with Ukachukwu’s campaign structures across the state.
In response, a visibly elated Prince Ukachukwu expressed profound appreciation to the Accord Party leadership for their confidence in his candidacy, pledging to maintain a mutually beneficial partnership both during the campaign and in his administration if elected governor.
He commended the Accord Party for demonstrating political maturity and patriotism, describing their support as a reflection of a shared commitment to a new, inclusive, and development-driven Anambra.
The Accord Party, in its statement, emphasized its belief in Ukachukwu’s capacity as a seasoned entrepreneur and industrialist, noting that his investments have created thousands of jobs for youths across Nigeria. The party expressed optimism that his leadership would liberate Anambra State from the grip of political profiteers and entrenched interests that have stagnated its growth for years.
Hon. Igboekwe further revealed that the party had designed a series of grassroots mobilization strategies to ensure Ukachukwu’s victory, including a one-million-man solidarity march across the state to demonstrate their strength and unity of purpose.
“We are ready to take Anambra by storm,” he declared. “We will back it up with massive voter mobilization and conclude with a resounding landslide victory for Ikukuoma on November 8.” he added.
The emerging Accord–APC alliance marks one of the most significant realignments in Anambra’s pre-election political landscape, setting the stage for a potentially transformative contest in 2025.
