Combat Training:Anambra Police Strengthen Security Preparedness

The Anambra State Police Command has intensified combat and tactical training as part of its renewed efforts to reposition the Force to effectively address evolving security challenges in the state.
In a statement issued on Sunday, the Command’s spokesperson, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, disclosed that the ongoing combat and arms drills are specifically designed to equip officers with advanced operational skills and enhance their capacity to function as highly capable and formidable security personnel.

According to him, the training programme is aimed at ensuring that officers are fully prepared to respond decisively, professionally, and effectively to any emerging threats within the state.
He further stated that the initiative underscores the Anambra State Police Command’s commitment to sustaining peace, strengthening public safety, and reinforcing security operations across the state.
