By Polycarp Ifeanyi

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Barrister Sly Ezeokenwa, has financially empowered five members of the Faithspiration Initiative with N2.5 millions .

He made the announcement during the Faithspiration Initiative Youth Forum Season 3, held at the Basilica Square of the Most Holy Trinity, Onitsha, Anambra State.

Hon. Ezeokenwa presented each of the five beneficiaries with the sum of Five Hundred Thousand Naira (₦500,000).

The event, themed “Ablaze with the Fire of God,” featured performances by several comedians, including Chief Imo, Igwe White, Chioma Ezefete, and Mirabel Chisom, among others.

Speaking at the event, Hon. Ezeokenwa commended the founder and spiritual leader of the Faithspiration Initiative, Very Rev. Fr. Dr. George Adimike, for his efforts in establishing a platform that draws young people closer to God.

According to him, “This is a very commendable initiative—one that we, as a political party, must align with. Incidentally, this programme, especially its empowerment component, strongly reflects the core mandate of the Solution Government in Anambra State.”

He further emphasized that the state government, under this mandate, has trained more than ten thousand individuals and provided them with empowerment opportunities.

He noted that since the Faithspiration Initiative also focuses on empowerment, it is worthy of commendation.

He particularly praised Fr. George Adimike, the initiator of the programme, for his dedication and impactful efforts.

“Equally, as a political party, when we came on board, we established what we call the APGA Foundation. The core mandate of the Foundation is sustainability. We believe that, as a political party, one of the most meaningful contributions we can make is to give back to society, no matter how little,” he stated.

Barrister Ezeokenwa congratulated the beneficiaries, expressing confidence that, with the financial support and the technical assistance pledged by Hon. Patrick Aghamba, they would make productive use of the seed capital.

He also expressed optimism that, in due course, the beneficiaries would, in turn, empower others and contribute positively to society.
