The African Democratic Congress (ADC) House of Representatives aspirant for Nnewi North, Nnewi South, and Ekwusigo Federal Constituency,Lotanna Ikebunwa has unveiled his legislative agenda for the constituents.

He made the unveiling during the week at his country home in Nnewi.

He also used the occasion to inaugurate the “Group Governance Initiative,” a support group aimed at fostering good governance in the Nnewi Federal Constituency.

He recalled how he benefited from the philanthropic gestures and goodwill of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah.

According to him, Lotanna’s twelve-point legislative and development agenda is aimed at strengthening the auto spare parts dealership ecosystem within the federal constituency and supporting small businesses through legislation.

Other areas of focus include an affordable housing scheme for civil servants and small business owners, as well as youth employment and human capital development.

The agenda also includes the establishment of technology hubs and innovation centres.

He noted that his plans are equally geared towards supporting petty traders and market women, as well as transforming education through smart and modern schools.

It further includes expanding access to clean and potable water, and improving electricity supply through the installation of new and additional transformers.

The House of Representatives hopeful assured the people of his commitment to facilitating federal jobs, appointments, and opportunities for them, as well as enhancing support for public hospitals and primary healthcare centres.

The Nnewi-born aspirant stated that he would also strengthen community security within the constituency.

He remarked that he had experienced hardship in life, noting that it is unfortunate that many individuals, after attaining positions of authority, often forget their humble beginnings.

Lotanna, who previously served as Special Assistant (SA) to Senator Ifeanyi Ubah on Grassroots Mobilisation, said he would never forget his own beginnings.

He added that God has been good to him, and that he is ready to show gratitude by rendering quality and responsive service to the people.

He expressed confidence in securing the ADC House of Representatives ticket.
