Fear Grips Political Opponents In Okpoko As Akwuobi Joins State Assembly Race

As the State House of Assembly primary election draw closer, fear of losing ticket griped aspirants who are jostling for the seat of State House of Assembly in Okpoko, Ogbaru 1 constituency following the declaration of interest by the  seating Mayor of Ogbaru local government, Sir. Kenneth Akwuobi

Although, his intention to contest for the State House of Assembly was rumoured in the past but, recently confirmed true by the APGA stakeholders in the area as well as Party stalwarts and wards Chairmen made up of six wards in Okpoko, Ogbaru 1 constituency.

It was gathered that Sir. Akwuobi’s ambition to contest for the seat of State House of Assembly in Ogbaru 1 constituency is no more news, and with that, political atmosphere in Okpoko automatically changed as almost Okpoko populace has shifted their interest/ attention to Sir. Akwuobi, even as people rumoured that the major contender in the area has been advancing to him to step down through different influencial individuals but Sir. Akwuobi continued to resist such advancements but determined to test his political popularity in the area.

According to stakeholders in Okpoko, Sir. Akwuobi’s emergency as among the State House of Assembly aspirants is timely since the Community has been yearning for vibrant and authentic APGA chieftain and trusted representative that would compliment the ongoing transformation in Okpoko by Governor Soludo’s administration.

“They said, this is the first time Okpoko is getting a true leader who would effectively represent us.  Since ages Okpoko as a community has been stumbling from one person to another in search of credible leader that would lead them to the promise land. Lucky enough for us, Sir. Kenneth Akwuobi’s ambition is widely accepted. He would liberate Okpoko and he is God sent like Governor Soludo to Okpoko and Anambra State in general. We are tired of selfish leaders, cycophants and cabals who have eaten deep into the fabrics of Okpoko Community” Said the stakeholders.

“In comparison, Sir. Akwuobi’s current transformation in Atani, Ogbaru local government headquarters is intimidating that nobody can challenge his candidacy in Ogbaru 1 constituency. Not even one person. Okpoko Community can not make serious mistake again since God on his infinity mercy brought us  Sir Kenneth Akwuobi.  He is actually tested and trusted. Sir. Akwuobi performances are visible and verifiable.
