Awka Gears Up for Highlife Explosion with Dr. Eco de Coque Live at Nwoke Udi Palmwine Bar

The people of Awka are set for an unforgettable evening of scintillating highlife music this Sunday, as the award-winning Nwoke Udi Palmwine Bar rolls out the red carpet for Ambassador Dr. Eco de Coque and his Melodykings International Super Highlife Band of Africa.

The much-anticipated live performance comes exactly one week after the bar’s CEO, Mazi Ndubuisi Eze, received yet another prestigious award from the Anambra Youths Progressive Forum (AYPF). The honour recognises his outstanding entrepreneurial spirit and his consistent efforts to meaningfully engage young people through his hospitality ventures.

Established over a decade ago, Nwoke Udi Palmwine Bar has remained a trailblazer in Awka’s entertainment scene. 

The iconic establishment recently expanded with the launch of Nnaochie Foods, a delightful sister brand where lovers of authentic African cuisine can savour rich local flavours that cater to diverse tastes.

Music enthusiasts have already begun showering praise on the selection of Dr. Eco de Coque, whose artistic brilliance and high-energy performances have thrilled audiences for years.

Prominent personalities have also expressed excitement, noting that they eagerly anticipate the electrifying live show scheduled to take place at Nwoke Udi Palmwine Bar on 19 April.

According to the Media Director of Nwoke Udi Palmwine Bar, Uche Ndeke, the event promises to be a night of premium palm wine, mouth-watering delicacies, and legendary highlife music. 

He added that the in-house DJ, DJ Banks, will also be on hand to keep the atmosphere lively and engaging throughout the night.
