Nonye Soludo Empowers 135 Aguata Residents with Home Gardening Initiative

The First Lady of Anambra State, Dr. Mrs. Nonye Soludo, through her pet initiative, Healthy Living with Nonye Soludo, distributed seed packs to over 135 beneficiaries in Aguata Local Government Area during the programme’s routine Saturday workout session.
The initiative aims to encourage households and communities to embrace home gardening as a sustainable means of improving food security, promoting healthy nutrition, and fostering healthier lifestyles.
Speaking through the programme, the First Lady emphasized the importance of cultivating vegetables and other crops at the household level to support family nutrition and self-sufficiency.
The seed distribution exercise forms part of the broader efforts of the Healthy Living Team to promote wellness, environmental sustainability, and community development across the state.
According to Dr. Mrs. Nonye Soludo, the initiative is not only about planting crops but also about nurturing a culture of healthy living and resilience among residents.
