NIPR Commends FRSC Corps Marshal for Transforming Road Safety Agency

The President and Chairman of Council of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Dr. Ike Neliaku, has commended the Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Shehu Mohammed, for implementing strategic reforms that have strengthened the Corps’ operational efficiency, enhanced service delivery, and elevated its institutional reputation.
The commendation was contained in a statement issued by the Deputy Corps Commander and Corps Public Education Officer, Federal Road Safety Corps Headquarters, Abuja, Osondu Ohaeri, following a courtesy visit by Dr. Neliaku, who led a high-powered delegation of the Institute to the Corps Marshal at the FRSC National Headquarters in Abuja.
Speaking during the visit, Dr. Neliaku lauded the Corps Marshal for driving remarkable institutional transformation, with particular emphasis on the milestones achieved in the digitisation of the Corps’ operations.
He described the achievements as a clear demonstration of visionary leadership, innovation, and an unwavering commitment to service excellence.
He further reaffirmed the Institute’s commitment to partnering with the FRSC in the areas of professional training, executive development, strategic communication, and capacity building to consolidate the Corps’ ongoing transformation agenda and enhance its institutional effectiveness.
Responding, Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed expressed appreciation to the NIPR leadership for the recognition and confidence reposed in the Corps.
He stated that professionalism, continuous learning, innovation, and strategic communication remain fundamental pillars of his administration’s vision of building a more responsive, efficient, and globally respected road safety institution.
The Corps Marshal described the proposed collaboration as a strategic investment in human capital that would further equip FRSC personnel with the requisite knowledge, skills, and ethical orientation needed to meet the evolving demands of public service and contemporary road safety management.
At the end of the meeting, both organisations agreed to establish a strategic framework for sustained collaboration, with a focus on staff training, professional certification, knowledge exchange, executive development, and other mutually beneficial initiatives aimed at promoting institutional excellence.
The partnership is expected to further reinforce the Corps Marshal’s commitment to institutional excellence, workforce development, and the continuous entrenchment of professionalism as the foundation of effective service delivery, while strengthening the FRSC’s capacity to deliver on its statutory mandate.
