Achor particularly commended Dr. Soludo for her commitment to promoting physical fitness, healthy eating, disease prevention, and overall community wellness through her advocacy for preventive healthcare.
The Accountant General, who spoke in Awka, congratulated Dr. Soludo on winning the 2026 BudgIT Active Citizens Award for Health Activism, describing the honour as a national endorsement of her long-standing commitment to preventive healthcare and the promotion of healthier communities.
According to him, the Healthy Living with Nonye Soludo Initiative has made a measurable impact across various communities in Anambra State by encouraging residents to adopt healthier lifestyles and take greater responsibility for their physical well-being.
“I’m proud of Dr. Nonye Soludo for bringing Anambra once again to the national limelight by winning the 2026 BudgIT Active Citizens Award,” Achor said.
He noted that the recognition was not only a personal achievement for the First Lady but also a testament to the positive impact of sustained advocacy and community-focused initiatives.
