Ekwunife’s Hostel Legacy at BMGS, Adazi Nnukwu: Turning Representation into Impact

The people of Anambra Central Senatorial District have been urged to return Senator Uche Ekwunife to the Senate in 2027.
They are also called upon to “do it again” to enable her attract more development to the zone.
According to the media team of Senator Uche Ekwunife (SUE) on Tuesday, the construction of a hostel at Bubendorff Memorial Grammar School (BMGS), Adazi Nnukwu, in Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra State, stands as one of the development initiatives associated with the intervention of Senator Uche Ekwunife (Iyom).
According to SUE, development is most meaningful when it touches lives, improves opportunities and leaves behind lasting value.
It stated that the project was conceived to provide modern on-campus accommodation for students, with the broader objective of enhancing student welfare, security and convenience, while creating a conducive environment for academic pursuits.
It said Bubendorff Memorial Grammar School is a prominent Catholic mission school in Adazi Nnukwu, with a long-standing tradition of academic excellence and character formation.
The media team added that providing improved hostel infrastructure therefore represents an investment not only in physical infrastructure but also in the educational experience and well-being of the students.
“Photographic documentation from the construction period captures the project at various stages, providing a visual record of the development. The project signboard identifies Senator Uche Ekwunife as the facilitator, while documentation dated January 29, 2023, shows the construction in progress.
“For Senator Uche Ekwunife, development is all about identifying needs, facilitating interventions and supporting projects capable of making a tangible difference in people’s lives. The BMGS hostel project reflects the importance of education-focused infrastructure in strengthening the capacity of schools to provide students with a safe, comfortable and productive learning environment.
“When representation produces infrastructure that serves generations, the impact goes beyond politics and becomes a legacy of service,” it added.
