Nwoye Glamour Returns to Real Estate, Sets Out to Redefine Nigeria’s Property Sector

Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo’s former Chief Protocol Officer and Deputy Chief of Staff, Hon. Chinedu Nwoye Glamour, has disclosed that his company, Glamour Homes And Properties, is set to redefine the real estate business in Nigeria.

The former aide to the Governor, who spoke to our reporter that he had returned to his first love, real estate business, after meritoriously serving the state government during Soludo’s first tenure, said he had been in the property business since 2002, before venturing into government and politics.

Nwoye, who is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Glamour Homes And Properties and Glamour Global Ventures, subsidiaries of McGlamour Hospitality Limited, said he was on a mission to leave a lasting legacy in the sands of time in this new phase of his life.

According to him,the Glamour Homes And Properties is already a sought-after brand in the real estate market, with a client base that cuts across the country and branch offices in Asaba, Lagos, Abuja, Enugu and other parts of Nigeria.

He said that , what makes Glamour Homes And Properties unique is its spirit of partnership and cooperation with other players in the sector.

Rather than seeing colleagues as competitors, he said, the company sees them as partners in progress and collaborators.

He said his company has properties in Anambra, Lagos, Abuja and other parts of the country, adding that he had also been involved in supervising the construction and furnishing of hotels, recruiting hotel staff and providing a host of other services in the hospitality industry.

He further disclosed that he had been involved in building his own properties long before venturing into government.

The hospitality maestro, who is also a marketing professional, observed that the real estate business in Anambra State is often characterised by land speculation rather than land development.

According to him, people would rather buy land and allow it to appreciate over time for the purpose of reselling it than develop the property.

He said Glamour Homes And Properties is introducing a new dimension to the real estate business in Anambra State by encouraging people to see the urgent need to develop their landed properties rather than leaving them undeveloped and idle for too long, a situation which, he noted, could potentially lead to revocation as well as the withdrawal of rights of ownership.

The immediate past State Chief of Protocol and Deputy Chief of Staff, who also observed that Anambra is on the rise, noted that with the legacy projects on the ground, the state would become much more developed.

He, however, appealed to citizens to refrain from practices that contribute to environmental degradation.

He stressed that people should learn how to maintain a clean and healthy environment by regularly desilting drainage channels and refraining from erecting structures on waterways, noting that such unwholesome practices could be inimical and detrimental to the environment.

Although he pointed out that he would gladly respond if he were called upon to serve the state government again, noting that it would be on a part-time basis because he is building a legacy not only for himself but also for generations to come.

He added that he sees a bigger light at the end of the tunnel in this new chapter of his life.

Nwoye also disclosed that he would not abandon politics, as he hopes to contest for elective positions in the near future. He stressed that he needs to establish real estate as his first address and politics as his second address.

The Chairman and CEO of Glamour Homes And Properties, who is the National Coordinator and Convener of the Soludo Support Group (SSG), a flagship support group that mobilised grassroots support for Governor Soludo’s first-term election, emphasised that his return to the real estate business marks a turning point in his career.

He said he believes nature has provided all that is needed for man to explore, excel and enlarge his coast.
