Shocking Discovery: Enugu Police Discover Human Skull, Ritual Items in Church Connected to 4 Siblings’ Murders

The Enugu State Police Command has confirmed the recovery of human skull and other ritual paraphernalia at a church building located in the Igbo-Eze South Local Government Area.
According to a statement from the Command, the discovery was made during a security operation led by the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Igbo-Eze South.
The church in question, named “Synagogue,” is reportedly owned by one Prophet Chinedu Solomon Ezedike, who is allegedly connected to the gruesome murder of four young siblings in the area.
Recall that last week, the brutal killing of the four children shocked residents of Enugu State and sparked widespread outrage across the region and beyond.
In response to the incident, the Enugu State Government swiftly demolished the structure where the killings allegedly occurred. However, further investigations into Ezedike’s activities prompted security agents to extend their search to his other properties, resulting in the latest discovery.
Barr. Ferdinand Ukwueze, Chairman of Igbo-Eze South LGA, confirmed the findings in a statement posted on his official Facebook page on Monday.
He wrote:
“Two days ago, while combing areas suspected to be hideouts for various forms of criminal activity, I visited a site at Abile Hill, Isi-Agu, Ibagwa-Aka. I was accompanied by the DPO of Igbo-Eze South and other security operatives.
“The location, where construction work is ongoing on Prophet Chinedu Ezedike’s so-called Synagogue, was found to be a suspected ritual site.
“To our utter dismay, we discovered a human skull and a ritual staff at the location. This discovery lends further credence to the deeply disturbing allegations surrounding Ezedike. The recovered items have been handed over to the Police for proper forensic examination as investigations continue.”
Ukwueze emphasized the government’s unwavering commitment to stamping out criminality:
“We will continue to uncover and investigate more of such hidden sites. Under the administration of His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, there will be no refuge for criminals.
“We are committed to building an egalitarian society where every son and daughter of Enugu State can thrive without fear of criminal intimidation or violence.”
He further expressed gratitude for the support of security agencies, including the Nigeria Police, Department of State Services (DSS), military personnel, local vigilante groups, Forest Guards, and residents who have provided intelligence.
“Society fails when good people remain silent in the face of evil. We must all rise to protect our land,” he concluded.
In an earlier statement, Ukwueze confirmed the demolition of the church building linked to the pastor.
“We stood with the people of Ibagwa-Aka as we demolished the stronghold of Prophet Chinedu Solomon Ezedike, who is linked to the heartbreaking murder of four innocent siblings.
“This action sends a clear message: under Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah’s administration, Enugu State will not serve as a haven for criminal elements.
“Let it be known Igbo-Eze South will no longer tolerate evil in any form.”he added.
