High Chief Emmanuel Idemili

Amafor Nkpor, a community in Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State, has declared Governor Professor Charles Soludo the best governor in the history of the state.
The declaration was made during a gathering that felt more like a political carnival than a typical community meeting.
Speaking on behalf of the community, the Chairman of Amafor Nkpor, High Chief Emmanuel Idemili—popularly known as EmmaGOLD praised Governor Soludo, describing him as “a symbol of democracy and leadership.”
“Since I was born and began to hear about governors in this state, I have never witnessed a time like this,”
“Governor Soludo is different. He is a truthful man. He says something and he does it. That is real leadership,” he said.
Chief Idemili, who also serves as the Convener of the Divine Mandate Actualization group, affirmed that the organization comprising over 15,000 active members has pledged its full support for Soludo’s re-election in the upcoming Anambra gubernatorial election scheduled for November 8, 2025.
“We are not just endorsing him with our mouths,” “We will mobilize. I am bringing out all our members and over 40,000 residents of Amafor to come out en masse and vote for Soludo again. He deserves it. He has touched lives, transformed communities, and restored hope.”
Amafor Nkpor, known for its large population and significant political influence, is now positioning itself as a stronghold of support for Soludo’s second-term bid. With robust grassroots structures and active youth participation, the community’s message is unambiguous: “Soludo must continue!” said the Convener.
This endorsement comes at a time when Governor Soludo’s infrastructural and socio-economic reforms across Anambra State are receiving widespread acclaim, particularly at the grassroots level.
As the 2025 governorship election approaches, the voice from Amafor Nkpor rings out clearly: “We have seen the light, and that light is Soludo!”
