Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate in the upcoming November 8 election in Anambra State, has pledged to end the long-standing neglect of Nnewi and initiate a new era of development, should he be elected governor.

Speaking over the weekend during a thank-you visit to Nnewi in appreciation of the community’s support, Ukachukwu vowed to transform the historic town and restore its dignity and infrastructural relevance.

“We will change the narrative,” . “Nnewi has suffered years of abandonment, but that era is coming to an end. Our mission is to elevate Nnewi and ensure it gets the attention it deserves.”he stated.

Decrying the current state of infrastructure in the town, Ukachukwu lamented the lack of pipe-borne water, erratic power supply, and the poor state of roads.

“Nnewi deserves far more than it currently has,” “There’s no clean water, no stable electricity, and no quality access roads but that will soon change.” Ukachukwu stated.

The APC candidate expressed frustration that the town’s growth has been stunted since the brief tenure of Dame Virginia Etiaba, and he called for a decisive political shift.

“Nnewi cannot remain politically enslaved. Voting for APGA is voting for stagnation. It is time to reject deception and embrace a future of real change. This is our moment.”he added.

Ukachukwu urged all his support groups to intensify grassroots mobilization and integrate themselves into their respective wards to solidify the APC’s structure across the state.

Speaking during the visit, Senator (Iyom) Uche Ekwunife, Ukachukwu’s running mate and a seasoned political figure, praised his character and leadership credentials.

“Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu is a good man,” “He is credible, dependable, and fully capable of steering the affairs of Anambra. At this time in our history, we need a tested and trusted leader like him.”she stated.

APC State Chairman, Chief Basil Ejidike, echoed her sentiments, emphasizing that Anambra is overdue for a change.

“Change is not just coming,it is inevitable,” “The people of Nnewi must rally behind the winning team of Prince Ukachukwu and Senator Ekwunife. Together, they represent a new beginning for our state.”he said.

Hon. Innocent Orizu, the APC Chairman for Nnewi North Local Government Area, also expressed strong confidence in Ukachukwu’s candidacy.

“This is a remarkable turning point for Ndi Anambra,”

“APC is our party, and Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu is at home in Nnewi. Just as we supported Senator Ifeanyi Ubah with vigor, we will stand firmly behind Ukachukwu. All ten wards in Nnewi North are with him.”Orizu declared.

Endorsements continued to pour in from other party leaders. Hon. Dozie Ikedife, the APC Zonal Organizing Coordinator for Anambra South, passionately outlined the party’s vision.

“Our project is clear to make APC the ruling party in Anambra. Senator Ifeanyi Ubah may no longer be politically present, but in Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu, we have a new hope. He comes with the Wind of Glory, and we are ready to shower him with the blessings of victory.”he stated.

Hon. Vin Onyeka, former Director-General of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah’s gubernatorial campaign, reaffirmed Ukachukwu’s deep-rooted loyalty to Nnewi.

“Prince Ukachukwu stood solidly with us during Senator Ubah’s campaign. His history of loyalty and partnership with the people of Nnewi is well known and deeply appreciated.” he added.

Princess Esome Nwafor-Orizu, a prominent APC figure from Nnewi North, expressed confidence in Ukachukwu’s vision.
