Anambra Guber: We’ll Give You Maximum Support ,Awka North APGA Assures Soludo

The leadership of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Awka North Local Government Area of Anambra State has assured Professor Chukwuma Soludo of their unwavering support in the upcoming governorship election scheduled for November 8.
The chairman of the party in the LGA, Hon. James Onwuka, gave the assurance on Friday in Mgbakwu while welcoming Chief Isaac Ofoelo Jnr. into the party at an event held at Amede Village Hall.
Onwuka stated that the party faithful in Awka North were fully prepared and determined to deliver 98 percent of the total votes in the LGA to Soludo on election day.
According to him, the party members and indeed the entire people of Awka North are pleased with Governor Soludo’s ongoing projects in the area and are ready to reward his performance with their votes, so he can continue his good work across the state.
While welcoming Ofoelo into the party, Onwuka expressed delight at the level of commitment displayed by the LGA’s party stakeholders.
“However, we must do even more,” “What you contribute determines what you get in return after the election. We need more roads in Awka North, and that is why we are targeting 98 percent of the votes here.”he stated.
Also speaking at the event, the Mayor of the LGA, Hon. ThankGod Anago, commended Ofoelo for joining the party, describing it as a bold move that would bring progress and more development to his ward.
In his remarks, the Secretary of the party in the LGA, Chief Amaechi Obiesili, praised Governor Soludo for his developmental strides across the state, especially in Awka North.
He noted that the governor had won the hearts of the people with his outstanding performance.
The Assistant State Secretary of the party, Hon. Kenechukwu Nnadimma, and the Leader of the party in the council area, Chief Lawrence Onwuzuka, in their separate remarks, expressed satisfaction with the level of unity among party stakeholders in Mgbakwu Ward and encouraged them to sustain it.
In his own remarks, Chief Ofoelo said he was delighted to join the party, stating that he was impressed with the governor’s achievements and the internal unity within APGA. He pledged his full support for Soludo’s re-election bid.
Also in attendance at the event were the Deputy Chairman of the party in the LGA, Hon. Emeka Iliemenem; the Women’s Leader; all 14 Ward Chairmen; councillors; and other party stakeholders.
