Soludo Is Best Standard: Commissioner Sparks Re-election Momentum in Nnewi South

The Anambra State Commissioner for Environment, Engr. Felix Odimegwu, has described the incumbent governor, Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo, as the best leader the state has had in recent years.
Speaking over the weekend at a massive rally held in Ezinifite, Nnewi South Local Government Area, Odimegwu urged the people to massively come out enmass and vote for Soludo on November 8.
He stated this when he led a high-powered team to galvanize support for Governor Soludo’s re-election bid.
The commissioner expressed appreciation to attendees for their commitment and turnout, noting that the overwhelming show of support reflected the people’s readiness to renew their social contract with the governor.
“Our people have seen and felt the difference in governance. From infrastructural development to education, healthcare, and economic reforms, Governor Soludo has delivered purposeful leadership. We are convinced he is the ideal candidate to lead Anambra to greater heights,” Odimegwu stated.
He urged continued grassroots mobilization and engagement ahead of the election, stressing that the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) remains committed to inclusive governance and sustainable development across all communities in the state.
Also speaking at the rally, the National Chairman of APGA, Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa Jr., praised Commissioner Odimegwu for organizing the event, describing it as a strong demonstration of political unity and awareness among the people of Nnewi South.
“Governor Soludo has redefined governance in Anambra State through landmark reforms and innovative policies. His administration reflects the true vision of APGA, and we are proud to stand with him as he seeks a second term,” Ezeokenwa affirmed.
The Mayor of Nnewi South LGA, Hon. Van George Ezeogidi (Ijele Utuh), also lauded the governor’s achievements, citing significant infrastructural improvements and enhanced public service delivery across the state.
“Ndi Anambra are blessed with a governor who leads with vision, compassion, and results. We must give him our full support to continue this transformative journey,” he said.
Former member representing Nnewi South in the Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon. Sunny Ozobialu, described the rally as both historic and strategic.
He said that the event reaffirmed the community’s strong commitment to Governor Soludo’s re-election under APGA in the upcoming November 8, 2025, gubernatorial election.
Similarly, the MD/CEO of the Anambra State Signage and Advertisement Agency (ANSAA), Mr. Tony Ujubuonu, pledged to continue mobilizing support to ensure APGA retains power and sustains the state’s development trajectory.
