Soludo Extends Heartfelt Birthday Felicitations to Former Governors Willie Obiano,Chris Ngige

The Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR, has extended his warmest congratulations to two of his distinguished predecessors,Chief Sir Willie Maduaburochukwu Obiano and Senator Dr. Chris Nwabueze Ngige, CON on the occasion of their birthdays.

In a goodwill message issued by his Press Secretary, Mr. Christian Aburime, Governor Soludo described Chief Obiano, who served as the Governor of Anambra State from March 17, 2014, to March 17, 2022, as a worthy predecessor who made notable contributions to the socio-economic development of the state.

“On this special occasion of his 70th birthday, I join Ndi Anambra in celebrating Chief Willie Obiano for his leadership, dedication, and the legacy of progress recorded during his tenure. I wish him continued good health, happiness, and many more years of purposeful service to humanity,” the Governor stated.

In a separate congratulatory message, Governor Soludo also paid tribute to Senator Chris Ngige, a medical doctor turned politician ,who served as Governor of Anambra State from May 2003 to March 2006.

He praised Senator Ngige for his dedication to public service, both at the state and national levels.

“Senator Ngige remains a respected figure whose time in office was marked by significant efforts to reposition the state. His service to Nigeria in various capacities is equally commendable,” Soludo noted.

The Governor extended his best wishes to Senator Ngige on his birthday, praying for continued strength, robust health, and more years of impactful service to the people of Anambra State and the nation at large.
