The former House of Assembly aspirant for Ogbaru 1 Constituency, Hon. Stephen Nnaemezie, has described the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) as a blessing to the people of Anambra State.

According to him, Ndi Anambra must hold firmly to the party and embrace it as a vehicle for purposeful development in the state.

He urged the people of Anambra State to mobilize and vote overwhelmingly for APGA in the forthcoming governorship election scheduled for November 8.

“We must support the APGA party and vote to sustain Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo’s giant strides in developing the state,” he said.

Nnaemezie made this statement while speaking to journalists at his residence in Okpoko, Ogbaru Local Government Area, on Monday.

According to him, Anambra State has become one of the leading states in Nigeria due to APGA’s leadership.

He noted that for over twenty years, since APGA assumed leadership in the state through successive administrations, the party has driven consistent transformation and development.

He warned Ndi Anambra against making what he called a grave mistake in the upcoming gubernatorial election by voting for any party other than APGA.

“Any mistake in the November 8 election would amount to taking Anambra back to Egypt back to thuggery, godfatherism, embezzlement of public funds, and underdevelopment,” he declared.

Nnaemezie, who also serves as the Director of Contact and Mobilization for the APGA Solidarity Movement (ASM) in Ogbaru Local Government Area, stated that APGA, as the ruling party in Anambra, has come to stay.

He maintained that Anambra has been liberated through the leadership of APGA and that the party cannot be displaced.

He called on Ndi Anambra, particularly civil servants and traders, to rise and defend APGA, and to vote massively for Professor Soludo so he can complete his ongoing projects and fulfill his vision for the state.

“Anambra State is APGA State. APGA is Anambra. The APGA party is also an indigenous political platform,a channel through which Ndigbo express their voice in Nigeria. Therefore, let Ndi Anambra not shut their eyes and lose our identity. Let us unite and support Soludo. Anambra cannot afford another leadership crisis,” Nnaemezie added.
