The Honorable Commissioner for Works, Hon. Ifeanyi Okoma, on Sunday hosted a strategic meeting of the Solution for Good Governance (SGG) in Obosi, Idemili North Local Government Area.
The event attracted a massive turnout of ward coordinators and supporters, who mapped out strategies ahead of the forthcoming governorship election scheduled for November 8, 2025 ,just 56 days away.
The meeting brought together all 14 SGG ward coordinators, each accompanied by over 2,000 loyal supporters, reaffirming their commitment to delivering a sweeping victory for the incumbent governor, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo.
Okoma, the Convener of SGG, expressed confidence not only in mobilizing his own ward but in rallying all 130 wards across Obosi.
He described the upcoming gubernatorial election as a “4 + 4 equals 8” goal, emphasizing that the South must be allowed to complete its rightful tenure.
Beyond politics, the Commissioner highlighted key developmental achievements of the Soludo administration, particularly in education. He announced that the governor has embarked on the construction of 21 modern, well-equipped public schools across Anambra State, with Obosi as a major beneficiary.
These new schools will be fully equipped with learning facilities, including computers, ensuring free education for all residents of Anambra.
“As long as you live in Anambra, your education is assured. Everyone must go to school. There will be no excuse for lack of money,” Okoma declared. He assured that Obosi’s education system would become one of the best in the state.
He further revealed that Governor Soludo recognizes the size and importance of Obosi and has promised to support the community’s pursuit of creating a new local government council.
A community delegation will soon be sent to the State House of Assembly to initiate legislative processes for establishing Obosi Local Government Area.
Describing Soludo as “the messiah God has sent to Obosi,”.
Hon. Okoma urged coordinators and their followers to remain steadfast in their mission to deliver victory in the November election.
The meeting ended peacefully, with resounding commitment from SGG members to secure a total victory for Governor Soludo.
